Every February

On My Own - Lea Salonga
And now I'm all alone again
Nowhere to turn, no one to go to.
Without a home, without a friend
without a face to say hello to
But now the night is near
And I can make-believe he's here

Sometimes I walk alone at night
When everybody else is sleeping
I think of him and then I'm happy
With the company I'm keeping
The city goes to bed
And I can live inside my head

On my own
Pretending he's beside me
All alone
I walk with him 'til morning
Without him, I feel his arms around me
And when I lose my way, I close my eyes and he has found me

In the rain
The pavement shines like silver
All the lights are misty in the river
In the darkness, the trees are full of starlight
And all I see is him and me forever and forever

And I know it's only in my mind
That I'm talking to myself and not to him
And although I know that he is blind
Still I say there's a way for us

I love him
But when the night is over
He is gone
The river's just a river
Without him, the world around me changes
The trees are bare and everywhere the streets are full of strangers

I love him
But every day I'm lonely
All my life I've only been pretending
Without me, his world will go on turning
The world is full of happiness that I have never known

I love him
I love him
I love him...
But only on my own...

From Les Miserables, the musical which I have to catch live before I die. One of my greatest wish is to travel the world to watch musicals.

As usual, Lea Salonga never fails to amaze.

And somehow, this songs never fails to spell out my thoughts so perfectly.

A few days ago, mama wanted to bring Mr Fluff out for his walk. But this monkey was being naughty by trying to escape from being leashed up. In her exasperation, mama decided not to not bring him out anymore and so, Mr Fluff was looking grumpy the whole day. And when I say "looking grumpy", I ain't kidding.

Ti orh orh (direct translation: sky black black)

PMS-ing

Bet you didn't know dogs can look grumpy huh!

Being the very doting and loving aunt (Fluffy is sist's child, so that makes me his aunt, no?), I tried to cheer him up by taking pictures with him.

But someone just totally dismissed my efforts. Sob sob.

The following is more evidence of my unconditional love towards my dog:

Fluffy says *woof*yummy*woof*!

This tiny box of pastries cost me my whole afternoon. Being the usual road idiot, I found the shop only after close to an hour of wandering around Vivocity.

I went home and offered my mum the pastries and she almost took one to eat. Oops. I also almost got slaughtered for betraying her until I shoved this in her face:

The best tutu kueh ever!

Hehe. This is her favourite tutu kueh. How can I forget mummy when I have doggy?

Cheryl the great cook was feeling housewifey the other day so she decided to whipped up a dish.

Haha. Okay I have to admit this doesn't look appetizing at all. And guess what?? It tasted as badgood as it looks!

And yes, it's egg again. Well, that's because eggs are nice and relatively easy to cook.

If I ever get married next time, I can foresee a typical day's menu to be as follows:
Breakfast: Sunny side ups served with complimentary orange juice
Lunch: Egg fried with ham fried beansprouts as side dish
Dinner: Egg mayonnaise sandwich
Supper: Cook yourself.

So this adds on to my list of criteria for the perfect husband: Loves eggs to death and has an extremely low cholesterol level

This is random but I need to show everyone my cute post-its!

Hehe okie, bedtime!
